Women and girls are powerful catalysts for community progress. ADAC’s Women’s Empowerment & Care programme invests in their skills, safety and voice, so every woman can shape her own future and lift those around her.
Our Focus Areas
- Economic Self-Reliance: Micro-grants, savings groups and business coaching help women (especially single mothers) launch and grow income-generating ventures.
- Education for Young Mothers: Scholarships, flexible class schedules and on-site childcare keep adolescent mothers enrolled and on track to graduate.
- Inclusion of Women with Disabilities: Accessible training centres, assistive devices and anti-stigma campaigns ensure women with physical challenges are fully welcomed in work and community life.
- Protection & Rights: Legal aid, safe-space networks and community watch initiatives safeguard girls, women, widows and elders from violence, exploitation and discrimination.
How We Work
- Grass-Roots Mobilisation: Women’s forums and village dialogues surface local priorities and leadership.
- Tailored Training & Mentorship: From vocational skills to financial literacy, programmes match women’s goals with expert coaching.
- Multi-Sector Partnerships: Schools, health clinics, civil authorities and private enterprises collaborate to deliver wrap-around support.
- Policy Advocacy: Research and dialogue drive reforms that advance gender equality and protect vulnerable groups.
By empowering women to overcome barriers and claim their rights, ADAC strengthens whole families, thereby paving the way for resilient, inclusive development across every community we serve.
